SWIMMING SPORTS!! This year we had our swimming sports I had lot's of fun it was awesome!I came 2nd in backstroke,breaststroke, Freestyle and butterfly all of those I got 3rd and I was in the class relay for room 19! WOW!!! In week 7 we had a competition with EGGS.It was all about seeing who is the bestBOY sitter and the best GIRL sitter.We had to write a little story aboutwhat we did with them. Here are my stories!!This year at school we have housesand we are in the RED house andour bird name is PUKEKO!!
My favourite subjects at school are Writing and Reading!
My worst subjects are Maths!
My best sports are Volleyball and Netball!

This term we have been talking about touches we like and touchs we don't like.
Some touchs that I like are a nice pat on the back.
I also like a kiss a goodnight from mum and dad.
I don't like briberey.
I also don't like people trying to steall me.
This year we have a garden that we have made for art attack. We have got mosaics and swan plants.
DuathlonThis year we had our school duathlon we had a fun day at waipuna park. It was our first house coulor compettion, sadly we came in 3rd place, green came 4th, blue came in 2nd place so it only means that team yellow won the trupy but we still have next time to win . You could chose if you wanted to go in a team or by your self I decided to go by my self and I came about, 10th. It happened during school time which was on a Tuesday in March. I enjoyed the duathlon because it's a great way to get outside which I enjoy getting active outside.Here is a photo of my little sister and as you can see she is in yellow house!!
BOOK REVEWISThis year I have been reading two books one of them is called Aquarius My Ohu Year and it is all about a girls mum and dad breaking up and its a really sad book. READINGSo far this year I have read a book called Aquarius My Ohu Year and a book called Igg and Me and also school books about a girl that her mum and dad have I Am Poem
I am caring and flexible. I wonder how much litter will be in the world in 20 years time. I hear the nature talking to me. I see the beautiful wild life outside. I want to be a teacher when I'm older. I pretend to not like school. I feel sad when birds and animals die by litter. I touch the beautiful wind. I worry about the animals. I cry when things get hurt. I am caring and flexible. I understand why we don't get everything. I say I'm really funny. I dream of being a teacher when I grow up. I try to do well at school. I hope I do well for the rest of school. I am caring and flexible.

In class we have been doing some experiments so far we have done a hokey pokey making. We also did colourful milk, Slim that was a fun experiment.
HOMEWORK
This year for homework we had to get some things that were going to be rubbish then we had to make something useful that our family could use. I made 3 things there was a purse, coasters and some gardening boots. Here is some photo's!!!!

CROSS COUNTRYThis year in term 2 we are having our school cross country I have a very big run I hope I come 4th, 3rd, 2nd or 1st. If you come 1st ,2nd or 3rd you get a medal at the end of it which is cool ! We have been training for it for about 5 weeks and we have also been training for a marathon badge. For our marathon we had to run 42km to complete it. Here is a photo of me running!

Last term we had a student teacher in our class her name was Miss Gardner I enjoyed having her.she was lovely and she unfortunately she had to leave Boo Hoo!Every know and then she comes back to visit the first time she came I was at a trip which was sad but I still got to see her for a block so I was happy.Miss gardner came up with a idea to write a fracted fairytale and my group decided to do Snow White and the seven dwafas, but we changed it to Snow Fight and the Seven Tallies.Instead of an apple we changed it to a bright red lollipop and she fants cause it is so nice and Snow fight is messey not clean.
This term we have been doing speeches and it was nice to see how many ways there was to get the audienceslaughing.There was two year 5's and one year 6. This is my textorizer!!
